Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020
Under the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ) you have the right to ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to that information, and request correction of information you believe is inaccurate. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Where we use cookies, SDKs or similar technologies for analytics or advertising, you can manage these via the controls described in our Cookie Policy.
Authorised representatives
You may authorise another person to submit a privacy request on your behalf. Representatives should email contact@playnzio.com with (1) written authorisation signed by the individual and (2) the identifying information we need to verify the request. We may ask the individual to confirm the authorisation directly with us.
Verification, response and complaints
- We may verify your request by matching information you provide against information we already hold (for example email or account details, device/browser identifiers or prior interactions).
- We may ask for additional information where needed to confirm identity or to prevent fraud, and we will respond within the timeframes required by the Privacy Act 2020.
- If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner — phone 0800 803 909, email enquiries@privacy.org.nz, or visit privacy.org.nz.
